The Custom Jewelry Manufacturing Studio in Burbank Behind Every Piece

Most jewelers sell jewelry they did not make. Burbank Jewelry Outlet makes what it sells, in a real workshop at 122 E Alameda Ave. The studio has been in continuous operation since 1978, and the manufacturing tools inside it have evolved decade by decade: from casting tables to 3D printers, from hand files to laser welders, from loupe to precision microscope.

What has not changed is who does the work. The Dedeian family designs, casts, sets, and finishes every piece in this building before it reaches a display case or a shipping box. When you buy from Burbank Jewelry Outlet, you are buying from the manufacturer.

How Every Piece Is Made

Five steps. One studio. Every piece made here, from first sketch to finished gold.

Design

Every piece starts as a sketch or a conversation. For custom work, our jewelers translate your idea into a precise technical drawing, then build a 3D-printed model so you can approve the shape, size, and proportions before we commit a single gram of gold.

3D Modeling and Printing

Our studio uses professional jewelry CAD software and a dedicated resin 3D printer to produce wax models at exact scale. You hold the model. You approve it. We cast it. This step eliminates the guesswork that makes custom jewelry from most shops feel like a gamble.

Casting

The approved model is used to create a mold. Molten metal, solid 14K gold, 18K gold, or platinum, is cast directly into the mold at our Burbank bench. No outsourcing, no off-site foundry. The casting happens here.

Stone Setting

Our jewelers set stones under precision microscopes using hand tools developed for fine jewelry work. Whether the stone is a customer’s own diamond or one selected from our inventory, it is set in-house by the people who designed the setting.

Finishing

Laser welding, surface refinishing, polishing, and quality inspection. Every piece leaves the bench by hand. We use laser welders for precision repairs and structural joins that solder cannot match.

Since 1978

The Same Studio. The Same Family. 48 Years of Gold.

In 1978, the Dedeian family opened a jewelry studio on E Alameda Avenue in Burbank. They have been in the same location ever since, making jewelry the same way: designed here, cast here, finished by hand, and sold directly to the people who walk through the door.

The studio has grown. The 3D printers, laser welders, and precision microscopes that sit alongside the casting equipment are tools Garo could not have imagined in 1978. But the business is the same. They still design here. They still cast here. They still hand-finish every piece before it leaves the building.

“Every ring we make, we made by hand. That’s not a marketing line. That’s literally how we work.”
